GB (Misc) 1950

This machine is unknown to me. The recorder was manufactured by a company called "British optical and precision engineering". The age of the machine is unknown but it does show some similarities to the Sound mirror. The recorder's spool tables move up and down to engage their moving direction. What isn't similar are the valves. As far as I can tell, ( I haven't had the machine open yet) they are not the miniature octal based ones. The recorder deck is metal and about 10mm thick, and looks as if this machine was not machine pressed but made on a milling machine. If you click on the picture above you should get a better look at the machine.
