This is a huge machine which is supposed to be portable. The recorder takes up to 14 inch reels and records at 7 1/2 and 15 IPS. It is built like a tank with all the valve modules held in place with half turn screws for quick maintenance. One thing I did find is that the motors do burn out on them due to the oil in the bearings going hard which means a complete strip down to service (Approx 1 hour per motor).
