Series_C_Consule (Leeversrich) 1961

This machine started life in the BBC working side by side with the EMI TR90.The Leevers Rich had a fantastic frequency response compared to the EMI's but let itself down as it had a slow start time. The Leevers Rich machines were not used often for editing but were used for playing long programs where start & stop functions were not important. These machines came in many configurations, mono, stereo and even 8 or 16 track though many of those were never to be seen again.
