One of the finest reel to reel machines ever produced

Nagra produced some of the finest portable reel to reel tape recorders of all time, they then later made a single large form actor machine designed to record analogue sound, the Nagra T is a variant of the instrumental Nagra Ti machine, using their high quality high precision dual capstan drive tape transport and its unusual cam driven pinch roller assembly, it makes this machine a rather unusual and unique machine.

The recorder has super editing features, the shuttle control is very precise and it has a very cleaver splicing option where you can cue the sound on the play head and press the scissors button to move the tape exactly over the built in tape splicing scissors.

This machine comes with the stand and the meter bridge, it also has a second set of monitor speakers inside the tape deck itself, the recorder is in full working order, it has 4 record cards installed meaning it can record on 15 and 7.1/2 IPS, you can either install more cards or modify the record cards to allow recording at 30 and 3.3/4 IPS.

This recorder has been checked over and is in good working order, it comes with a 30 day return to base warranty. Please check out pictures for physical condition.

  • mechanical failure ( not physical damage)

This warranty does not cover the following;

  • Items not wanted
  • Physical damage
  • User error
  • Faulty 3rd party hardware
  • damage in transit ( item is insured for damage - see shipping.
If an item is returned and there is not fault or the fault is of the users doing, the item will be subject to a 20% restocking fee or depending on the severity, returned back to the customer at their expense.
